Subscribe to Penguin Nation for a digest of SWW news, activities, college visits, scholarship- and community-service opportunities, and events. The SWW Home and School Association (HSA) sends newsletter weekly; current SWWHS families will also receive the occasional special bulletin for important announcements and reminders by signing up here.

Family directory
We encourage families of enrolled students to register your family on the SWW Family Portal. The portal will serve as our main system for HSA communications, including the weekly Penguin Nation Newsletter. You can opt-in (or out) of the online School Directory.
School Calendar
The SWWHS calendar is available as a Google Calendar that you can sync to your personal calendar service. *This includes the DCPS calendar.
To sync with Google Calendar, follow these instructions and copy the address below into your Google Calendar as instructed.
To load the calendar into iCal, Outlook, or another application, download the address below. You’ll need to verify that the calendar is set to sync.
