Congratulations to the School Without Walls Model United Nations Team, which won the coveted Best Small Delegation award at the April 3 Washington Area Model U.N. Conference (WAMUNC). To win this top award, almost everyone on Walls’ team of twelve won individually at WAMUNC, a prestigious gathering of over 1,000 high school students hosted by our very own George Washington University. Two Walls students, Jack Nugent (’17) and Montana Lee (’18), won Best Delegate in their respective committees, akin to first place. Furthermore, Nico Stauffer-Mason (’16), Gunter Przystawik (’18), and Saskia Daugherty (’19) won second place Outstanding Delegate awards, and six delegates — Sam O’Sullivan (’18), Dev Bhojwani (’18), Ella Weiner (’18), Eliza Zizka (’18), Eli Kukla (’18), and Christian Robles (’19) — won third place Honorable Mentions. What a great way to end the Model U.N. season for the school year!
