Walls Seniors Win B.I.G. Youth Oratorical Contests

Congratulations to seniors Daniella Butler and Philip O’Sullivan for their performance in the Blacks In Government 2016 Youth Oratorical Competition. The theme was “21st Century Racial Equality, Injustice or Justice: Where Are We Headed?” Daniella won first place in the Carl T. Rowan Chapter of BIG at the U.S. Department of State and Philip won first place in the U.S. Government Accountability Office Chapter. They will represent their respective chapters in the Region XI BIG competition in June, and the winner of the regional contest goes to the National BIG contest in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We wish them both the best of luck!
