Ms. Maith and I then began recruiting major cast members. Two of our members had previously performed the play; we recruited others from the Drama and Music classes. It has been a thrilling experience to see these young people evolve musically and dramatically. Ms. Maith did an outstanding and invaluable job of guiding and coaching the students for their roles.

The last major challenge for me was to find an accompanist. There were calendar conflicts with musicians with whom I had previously collaborated. Fortunately, someone connected me with Mr. William Jones. We had worked together approximately twelve years ago at Walls. He agreed to play and did an outstanding job. Without Ms. Maith, Ms. Lattimore’s brilliant choreography, Mr. Alberts’ instrumental students, Mr. William Jones’ piano skills and our devoted cast members our production would have never become a reality.
