SWW Euro Challenge Team Wins First Place in DC Metro Region Competition

euro imageThe School Without Walls Euro Challenge Team, led and trained by Ms. Tyson, won first place in the first competition held in DC Metro Region. The team will represent SWW and DC in the national competition to be held on April 30th in New York City. Team members Chase Ammon, Sinclair Blue, Molly Charles, Stephanie Guzman and Jana Korn outscored teams from Takoma, Georgetown Day School, KIPP and Robinson School (Virginia).

The Euro Challenge focuses on economic issues surrounding countries in the European Union, specifically those that use the Euro. SWW chose Spain and were questioned by a panel of experts on their topic, Adaptation to Technological Change.
