Spring Break and Beyond: Community Service Opportunities

As you make Spring Break plans, consider working on your community service hours. As a reminder, you need a total of 100 hours to graduate and it is recommended that you complete 25 hours by the end of freshman year. If you need community service forms, please see your counselor. Check out the following opportunities:

Global Youth Service Day on the National Mall: Saturday, April 12, 9:30am-2:00pm. Click here to to sign up for this opportunity to participate in a variety of service projects.

Shepherd Parkway Community Clean Up Series will be Saturday April 26, May 17, and June 14 from 10:00am-1:00pm. Meet at the corner of Martin Luther King and Malcom X Avenues, SE to participate in park clean up. Visit shepherdparkway.blogspot.com for more information.
