Featured Scholarship: B’nai B’rith International’s Diverse Minds Writing Challenge

Current Walls students (9th – 12th grades) are encouraged to participate in B’nai B’rith International’s scholarship contest. Students will write and illustrate a children’s book that tells a story of tolerance, diversity or inclusion. The first place includes a $5,000 scholarship and professional publication of the winning book, with additional money going to the school.

Winter Concert Tonight — 6:30PM at the Marvin Center

Walls’ 2015 Winter Concert is Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Betts Theatre in the Marvin Center. There will be performances by the B.O.M.B. Squad, the concert choir, the orchestra, and the stage band.

Congratulations to the Walls debate team!

Walls’ debate team had an excellent showing at the Washington Arlington Catholic Forensic League December 12 mega tournament, with two 3rd-place finishes in Varsity and two 5th-place finishes in Novice. The rest of the team had stellar records as well—all the students put a lot of work into their cases and practices.
