Parent-Teacher conferences

PDFPrintE-mail

Dear Parents,

This is a reminder that Parent-Teacher conferences will take place on Monday, December 7, 2009. The conferences are scheduled as follows:

Noon-3:00 PM

4:00 PM-7:00 PM

There will be no conferences from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM it is a lunch break for all teachers. Due to the increased enrollment and long waits parents may experience, Principal Trogisch is requesting the parents of students who have specific concerns to come to the parent-teacher conference day Monday, December 7th. We always encourage parents to meet with teachers and we will welcome parents who decide to attend; however if your daughter/son is meeting the academic requirements in their classes, we hope you will schedule a conference during their teacher planning period for additional feedback.

Parents will be allowed to sign up for conference slots starting at noon on a first-come first-serve basis. There will be sign in sheets for 9th and 10th grade teachers. Once you are signed up for a conference timeslot you will receive a pass and you will then meet with the teacher during your assigned time. 11th and 12th grade teachers will have sign in sheets on their door. Please check the list of teachers when you come in on Monday. Each conference will last for 10 minutes. Conference requests cannot be made ahead of time. Remember, there will be no school for students that day.

An informational meeting for parents of students travelling to France and Spain in the spring will be held on parent-teacher conference day, Monday, December 7th. The meeting will take place in the Senior Project room from 5:45-7pm. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend to receive information about the trips.

There will be a music booster meeting at 5:30pm on parent-teacher conference day in Mr. Albert’s classroom (Room 211). Parents who are part of this committee are asked to attend.

Please call the school if you have questions regarding parent-teacher conferences. Thanks for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you on Monday.
