In October, 14 students became new members of the French Honor Society (FHS), and 63 became new members of the National Honor Society (NHS) at an induction ceremony at SWW–with all dressed penguin-esquely in black and white!

This special event takes place annually at Walls to recognize students who receive top grades in French for the FHS, and/or in their classes overall (a minimum 3.5 GPA) for the NHS.

Student leaders of the Walls chapter of each society spoke about the mission and values of their organizations, and student inductees pledged to uphold those principles. Principal Trogisch wrapped up the program with congratulatory remarks, noting that more than a third of the SWW student body belongs to one or both societies, a strong indicator of school excellence.
