Global Issues Network Conference 2012 Open for Registration

gin conference_sliderOn March 16, 2012, the Global Issues Network Conference, co-sponsored by the Washington International School and the School Without Walls of Washington, D.C., will be held at the George Washington University campus. This student-run conference brings together students and accompanying teachers from the Washington, DC metropolitan area network of schools—independent, public and charter—to discuss critical global issues and current affairs.

SWW Alumna Sarah Hillware, who was recently crowned Miss DC 2012, is one of the keynote speakers. Ms. Hillware’s presentation will center around her platform topic: “Knowledge is Power: Empowering People to be Their Own Best Health Advocates.”
