College Awareness Month

Posted on: September 27th, 2013 by Jennifer Boulanger

October is College Awareness Month!  To kick it off, there will be two events that you are welcome to attend.  District of Columbia Public Schools has partnered with several colleges, universities and scholarship programs to provide students and families access to the professionals responsible for reviewing their applications.  It is never too early to start thinking about college!

Strategies for Your Success Workshop & Fair

Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Brown University, Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University and Princeton University will host a workshop for DC area families at Cardozo Education Campus. Admissions officers will share tips about the components of a college application and how to most effectively apply to college. The workshop will be followed by a mini-fair where families can speak directly to admissions officers from the colleges present.
