Brazilian Educators Visit Walls

Posted on: September 15th, 2014 by Jennifer Boulanger

Starting on September 15, SWWHS is welcoming 28 Brazilian teachers and administrators on a 10-day study tour of schools and of U.S. government agencies and NGOs involved in education. Their aim is to learn how U.S. educators work to improve student performance, lower dropout rates, and increase instructional effectiveness.

As a high-performing public magnet school that works closely with a university, Walls has often been of interest to educators from other countries. Walls administrators will present information on school operations, afterschool activities, and the GW partnership.
