Cristal Piper has been a science teacher at School Without Walls since 2001. She holds a B.S. degree in Microbiology from Howard University. She earned two master’s degrees from George Washington University in Health Services Management and Education. While at School Without Walls, she has taught various science and elective courses, including Chemistry, Environmental Science, Botany, Ecology, and Senior Project. Ms. Piper was chair of the Science department from 2002–2007 and was a 2001 D.C. Teaching Fellow.
