Jason Bulluck–a fourth year DCPS teacher and newcomer to School Without Walls–is teaching Seminar in the Visual Arts, Video Production and Film Studies. He is a contemporary (new media) sculptor whose artwork frequently features themes relating to technology and the built environment.

Before becoming a DC Teaching Fellow in 2008, Bulluck helped to design and incubate a project with the goal of alleviating socioeconomic tensions in towns and cities across the United States by connecting community and economic development experts with arts professionals. He attended Howard University where he studied both microbiology and fine art, finally earning a degree in sculpture. He also received a Masters in Education from the George Washington University.

In his spare time, Bulluck works with the SWW Video Production Club (VPC), with DCPS middle schoolers as a chess coach, and on a new series of paintings and sculptures.
