She has an undergraduate degree in Humanities from the University of Chicago and a master’s in Latin from The Catholic University of America. She was born in California, grew up in Vermont and New Hampshire, went to college in Chicago, Illinois, and has lived in Washington, D.C. with her family for more than 20 years.
