Ginea Briggs, a member of National Council of Teachers of English, has been teaching Humanities at School Without Walls since the 1997–1998 school year. She has taught Humanities I (Ancient Civilizations), Humanities II (American Studies, part I), Techniques of Writing, Public Speaking, and Film Studies. This year, she is teaching Humanities II, AP Language and Composition, and Senior Project. Ms. Briggs enjoys co-sponsoring the SASS Club (Sister Action Sister Strength), teaching film studies courses in Saturday Academy, and advising students in the LearnServe International Fellows program at SWW (www.learn-serve.org).
