Amigos de las Americas

Amigos de las Americas (AMIGOS) is an international youth development program that strives to create a world in which young people realize their full potential as leaders and global citizens. The program provides high school and college students the opportunity to volunteer and live in Latin American communities over the course of 4-8 weeks in the summer months. and the Washington, D.C. Chapter is currently recruiting high school students for the summer 2016 programs. Please note that students must be 15 years of age by Dec 31, 2015 and have two years of high school Spanish or equivalent proficiency in order to participate. More information is on the AMIGOS website.
